MONTHLY SPEAKERS SERIES - September 19th @ 7:30 PM - "Nature's Neighbor's: Naughty or Nice" by Robert Mardiney - This is a Free event!

FALL FAMILY CAMP OUT - September 24th-25th, 6PM-9AM - Celebrate the first official weekend after the Fall equinox. Bring your own tent and camping gear, and we’ll provide the night hike, campfire, s’mores, and light breakfast. Be on time to set up your tent and bring you own bag dinner. Limited tents available for rent for an addt’l fee. $6 ($4 for members).

SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENT - November 17 at the Oregon Ridge Lodge (13401 Beaver Dam Road) - Tom Horton speaking on the Chesapeake Bay - The admission fee for the 6:00 PM wine and lite fare reception, plus lecture is $50. The fee for the 7:30 PM lecture is $20 on-line or $25 at the door. For registration and payment information click here.

COLUMBIA GAS TRANSMISSION PIPELINE PROJECT - This project has cut a swath through 1.3 miles of Oregon Ridge Park, and is using at least 8.6 acres of parkland for a construction yard. Work is nearly complete. Details of this project can be found in the Oregon Ridge Park Mitigation Report and the Forest Conservation Plan. The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
