NO BONES ABOUT IT - October 20; 1 - 3 p.m. - Let’s explore skulls alphabetically. This adventure from A to Z gives participants the skills necessary to solve the mystery of whose skull it is... or at least the ability to make an educated guess. Adults and children 5+, $2 per person (FREE for ORNCC Members).

FINDING BIGFOOT - October 20; 7 - 9 p.m. - Bigfoot. Sasquatch. Yeti. No matter what you call it, you’ll be the judge on whether the legend is true. Hear folklore and stories of Bigfoot sightings around the camp fire and take a hike after dark in search of the legendary creature. We’ll use our detective skills to figure out which are signs and tracks left by other night creatures and which might be left by Bigfoot! This is for all ages, $4 per person ($2 for ORNCC Members).

NATURE QUEST FEST at LAKE ROLAND - October 21; 12 - 2 p.m. - Nature Quest is a county-wide scavenger hunt to find posts along the trails in Baltimore County parks. Quest Fest is a festival that includes live animal encounters, face painting, dam tours, races, crafts and more! No Registration Required. This is for all ages, $5 per person (FREE when you visit 5 or more Nature Quest trail markers).

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays.

The Park is open every day sunrise to sunset - March thru October. In the winter (November - February) the Park is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Oregon Ridge Lodge

The Lodge area is managed separately from the Nature Center area. For information concerning reservations at the Lodge area, and for questions about Fireworks, BSO Concerts, and wedding rentals; please contact the Oregon Ridge Lodge at 410-887-1818.
