GHOSTS OF THE MINER'S PAST NIGHT HIKE - October 28th, 7:30 PM - Hikes every 10 minutes starting at 7:30PM, call to reserve your time slot! Over 150 years ago Oregon Ridge was once an active mining town. On this spooky, haunted hike you will encounter the unsettled souls that once roamed the ridge. Then, gather around the campfire for s’mores! Ages 8+, $10 ($5 for members).
TRICKS AND TREATS AT OREGON RIDGE - October 30th, 1-2 PM - Dress up in your best costume and stroll through the woods and meadow to learn the tricks plants and animals have up their “leaves”. Participants will get a treat at each stop so bring a bag. The hike is approximately 1/2 mile. $5 ($3 for members).
SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENT - November 17 at the Oregon Ridge Lodge (13401 Beaver Dam Road) - Tom Horton speaking on the Chesapeake Bay - The admission fee for the 6:00 PM wine and lite fare reception, plus lecture is $50. The fee for the 7:30 PM lecture is $20 on-line or $25 at the door. For registration and payment information click here.

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
