PRIMITIVE TECHNOLOGY WEEKEND - May 2nd & 3rd, 10AM-4PM - Rediscover the Stone Age at our 25th annual Primitive Technology Weekend. Experts in producing Native American Tools will demonstrate their skills. Flint knapping, bow making, hide tanning, blowguns, fire making, cooking, and more. This is a FREE event!

TWILIGHT CANOE ON THE LAKE - May 8th, 6:30PM-8:30PM - Canoe the Oregon Ridge Lake and make s’mores on the beach. $6/ $4 (members).

MUSIC IN THE WOODS - May 9th, 10AM-4PM - Celebrate spring in the woods with music in the beautiful setting of Oregon Ridge. Enjoy this family friendly festival with over 12 diverse local bands and solo musicians. Performances include: bluegrass, folk, rock, and more on an outdoor stage. Vendors and children’s activities will be available throughout the day and you can meet up with musicians at jam sessions. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged for picnics, and hot dogs and light refreshments will be available for sale. Rain or shine! This is also a FREE event!



The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
