NOTICE - The Music in the Woods festival scheduled for June 6th has been cancelled.

UPDATE 4/7/20 from Baltimore County:  Oregon Ridge is open sunrise to sunset for essential outdoor recreation which would include hiking and walking only. Activities such as field games and picnicking will not be permitted until further notice. For more details click here.

SUMMER CAMP UPDATE - Due to COVID-19 closures we have delayed member registration for additional weeks of camp and registration for non-members. At this time, registration is only open to members for one camp session per child. Both sessions of Nature Scene Investigators are full as is the July session of Forest Navigators. When a decision has been made on moving forward with additional opportunities for registration we will contact members via email and change the message on this webpage. JOB AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - We are seeking Part-Time Naturalists, Park Attendants, Naturalist Interns, and Ridge Runners. For additional information concerning volunteer opportunities please see our Volunteer page or view our latest flyer .



The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays and all County observed holidays. Also, the Park is open every day sunrise to sunset - March thru October, except In the winter (November - February) the Park is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

NOTICE: If you are planning a group visit of 10 or more people, you will need to call in advance. For details please review our Rules and Regulations. Also, please note that swimming, alcohol, crab feasts, glass containers, fires, personal grills, balloons and amplified music are prohibited in the park. Grilling is only permitted when renting the Lake Pavilion and using the installed grills.
